Mario & Wario (joypad) Game

Mario & Wario is one of those weird little SNES gems that never left Japan—until emulators and fan translations came along. It’s a puzzle game where Wario drops buckets on Mario’s head (because of course he does), and you guide a blindfolded Mario through obstacles using a fairy cursor. Sounds simple, but the controls take a second to click—you’re not moving Mario directly, just placing arrows and blocks to nudge him along.
The levels start off cute and then get devious fast. One wrong move and Mario walks straight into a pit or gets smacked by an enemy. The fairy’s movement feels a little stiff at first, but once you get the hang of it, there’s something satisfying about setting up the perfect path and watching Mario stumble his way to the exit. It’s short, quirky, and honestly kind of hilarious if you’re into Nintendo’s weirder spin-offs.
Definitely not your typical Mario game, but that’s what makes it interesting.
