Mario Party on N64 is basically the reason my friends and I still yell at each other 20 years later. You pick your favorite character—I always go for Luigi, obviously—and then it's all about rolling dice, stealing coins, and absolutely wrecking friendships over those chaotic mini-games. There's something like 50 of them, and half the fun is watching someone faceplant in "Bumper Balls" or panic during "Hot Rope Jump."

The Japanese version plays the same as the US release, but hey, it’s got that extra charm if you’re into collecting imports. Just don’t blame me when someone flips the table after losing a star by one coin. This game turns every living room into a warzone, and that’s why we keep coming back to it.
