Mario No Photopie is one of those weird, charming N64 oddities that never made it outside Japan. You plug in this little camera add-on (the "Nintendo 64 Game Boy Camera") and suddenly Mario's world gets filled with your own terrible late-90s photos—family vacations, blurry pet snapshots, whatever. The game stretches and warps them into blocky N64 textures, then plops them into Mario-themed minigames and puzzles.
It's janky as hell by modern standards, but there's something magical about seeing your little brother's face pixelated onto a Goomba or your dog photoshopped into Peach's castle. Half the fun is just seeing how badly the N64 butchers your images. Definitely more of a novelty than a "real" game, but if you've got the hardware, it's a hilarious nostalgia trip.
Just don't expect it to replace Mario 64—this is pure experimental Nintendo at their weirdest.
