Mario Lost In Space is one of those weird little Flash games that somehow sticks with you. You're basically launching Mario—who's inexplicably strapped to a Bill Blaster—through space, trying to land him safely on these tiny platforms. Sounds simple, right? Then the asteroids start drifting in, and suddenly you're nudging him at just the right angle to avoid getting smacked into the void.

The first few levels ease you in, but by level 5, you'll be muttering at the screen as some rogue space junk sends Mario spinning off course. The physics are janky in that classic Flash game way, which somehow makes it more satisfying when you finally stick the landing. It's the kind of game you play for "just one more try" and then realize you've burned 20 minutes.

Honestly, it shouldn't work as well as it does, but here we are.
