Mario in the Jungle is one of those weird little Flash games that somehow sticks with you. You start off in this dense, green mess of vines and oversized Goombas—like, seriously, why are they twice Mario’s size here? The controls are simple (just arrow keys and jumping), but the levels throw some curveballs with platforms that crumble under you and enemies popping out of nowhere.

Coins are everywhere, of course, but half the time you’re just trying not to get squashed by a giant Piranha Plant. The jungle theme gives it a different vibe from the usual Mario stuff—more chaotic, less polished, but weirdly charming. By level three, you’ll either be hooked or rage-quitting over a poorly timed jump.

It’s short, janky in that classic Flash way, and honestly kind of a blast if you’re into retro oddities.
