Mario In Midgard Game

Mario in Midgard is one of those weird, obscure SNES games that makes you go, "Wait, what?" at first glance. It's basically Mario thrown into a Norse mythology setting—think mushrooms and question blocks, but with Vikings and runes mixed in. The controls feel a little stiff compared to the mainline Mario games, but once you get used to it, there's something oddly charming about stomping on trolls instead of Goombas.
First few minutes? You're jumping across wooden longship platforms while some synth-heavy Norse-inspired music plays in the background. The power-ups are different too—no fire flowers here, just... well, I won't spoil it, but let's say Odin's involved. Not the best Mario hack out there, but definitely one of the more interesting ones if you're into oddball SNES curiosities.
