MarioX World: Bowser's Strike Back was a Super Nintendo game that came out during the system's later years. It was developed and published by a smaller studio, not Nintendo, which gave it a different feel from the official Mario titles. You control Mario through a series of side scrolling levels, jumping on enemies and breaking blocks. The main goal is to rescue Princess Peach after Bowser escapes and sets up new fortresses. You collect power ups like the Super Mushroom and Fire Flower, and you navigate through themed worlds such as grasslands and castles.
