Luigi's Adventure - Mario X World Series (annual Update) Game

Luigi's Adventure is one of those weird, unofficial Mario hacks that somehow feels like it should've been real. You play as Luigi—finally getting his moment—in a remixed version of Super Mario World with new levels, tougher enemies, and some janky but charming sprite edits. The controls are exactly what you'd expect from an SNES Mario game, which is good because the level design throws some curveballs at you.
Right away, you'll notice the overworld map's been shuffled, and some of the familiar power-ups behave differently. The first few levels ease you in, but by the second world, you're dodging fireballs from reskinned Koopas and navigating platforms that disappear faster than they should. It's not polished like an official Nintendo release, but that's part of the fun—you never know if the next pipe will warp you somewhere useful or dump you into a glitchy mess.
If you're into ROM hacks that tweak the classics just enough to feel fresh without losing the nostalgia, this one's worth a look. Just don't expect it to play nice all the time.
