Oh man, Lost Vikings—this one takes me back. You're controlling three goofy Norse warriors (Erik the Swift, Baleog the Fierce, and Olaf the Stout) who got abducted by aliens, of all things. Each has their own weird skill: Erik can jump and bash through walls, Baleog swings a sword and shoots arrows, and Olaf... well, he blocks stuff with his shield like a walking fridge.
The puzzles start simple—maybe you need Erik to jump a gap while Baleog clears enemies—but later levels get brutal. Ever tried timing three separate characters’ moves so a boulder doesn’t crush them all? Yeah, that’s the kind of chaos you’re signing up for. The SNES version’s got this chunky pixel art that somehow makes the Vikings even more ridiculous-looking.
It’s one of those games where you’ll fail a dozen times, muttering “why did I think that would work,” before everything clicks. And when it does? Pure satisfaction.
