Lost Vikings II is one of those weird, charming SNES puzzle-platformers where you switch between three vikings—Olaf with his shield, Erik the speedy one, and Baelog with the sword—to solve some seriously clever level designs. Starts off simple enough: aliens (yeah, aliens) kidnap them from their village, and suddenly you're figuring out how to stack shields to block lasers, time sword swings just right, or use Erik's headbutt to knock down walls.
What I love is how each viking feels useless alone, but when you start combining their abilities, the solutions click in this really satisfying way. The first few levels trick you into thinking it's easy, then suddenly you're staring at a room full of conveyor belts and turrets, muttering "Okay, whose turn is it to die this time?"
Also, the dialogue's weirdly funny—Baelog complaining about modern technology while fighting robots never gets old. If you like puzzles that make you feel smart after bashing your head against them, this one's a gem.
