About Little Master - Nijiiro No Maseki (japan)
Little Master: Nijiiro No Maseki came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993 from developer Irem. It was part of that wave of Japanese role-playing games that explored more colorful, fantasy-driven worlds on the system, sitting alongside many other adventures but carving its own quiet space.
You control a young hero exploring a large world, screen by screen, with the main goal of collecting the scattered pieces of the Rainbow Holy Stone. Your character uses a sword for direct combat and can also employ magic spells found in dungeons. The game involves a lot of dungeon delving, where you solve environmental puzzles and fight monsters in turn-based encounters. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you rush into areas unprepared. Navigating the world and slowly assembling the stone gives the journey a methodical, satisfying weight.
