About Little Magic (japan) (beta)
Little Magic was a Japan-only beta release for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Natsume. It appeared during a period when the SNES library was diversifying, offering players more experimental titles alongside its established franchises.
You control a young wizard who must guide a large stone block through a series of single-screen puzzle rooms. The main objective is to push the stone onto a marked goal square in each stage. Your primary tool is a magic staff that can shoot projectiles to stun enemies or activate switches from a distance. The game is built on screen-by-screen exploration, where you must carefully consider each push, as a wrong move can trap the stone and force a restart. The pacing is deliberate and the difficulty can be unforgiving, demanding precise planning for every action. Navigating the stone through these magical hazards feels like a constant, engaging test of foresight.
