Oh man, The Lion King on SNES—this one takes me back. It's a side-scroller where you play as Simba from cub to full-grown lion, jumping across vines, dodging hyenas, and trying not to get wrecked by those infamously tricky stampede levels. The animation is gorgeous for its time, basically like playing through the movie.
First ten minutes? You're bouncing on giraffe heads, getting tossed in the air by monkeys, and realizing those log rolls in "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" are way harder than they look. The Japan version isn't wildly different, just some minor tweaks—but good luck finding an original cart these days without selling a kidney.
Soundtrack slaps, though. You'll be humming "Circle of Life" for weeks.
