Man, Lethal Weapon on SNES is such a weird little time capsule. You start off with Riggs and Murtaugh just punching their way through waves of goons—classic beat 'em up stuff—but then suddenly you're doing these awkward platforming sections where you jump between moving trucks. The controls are a bit stiff, but there's something charming about how it tries to cram the whole movie vibe into a side-scroller.
I love how they just threw in random movie references, like that one level where you're fighting on a rooftop while Christmas lights blink in the background. The soundtrack nails that 90s action movie synth feel too. It's not the deepest game, but if you're in the mood for some mindless thug-bashing with a buddy, it's a decent way to kill an afternoon.
Just don't expect it to hold up like Streets of Rage or Final Fight. This one's pure nostalgia fuel.
