Lethal Weapon on SNES is exactly what you'd expect—chaotic, over-the-top cop action where you play as Riggs or Murtaugh busting heads across Los Angeles. The first mission drops you right into a hostage situation at a mall, and honestly, it’s a mess in the best way. You’re dodging bullets, punching goons, and trying not to get blown up by terrorists—classic 90s beat ‘em up stuff.
Picking between Riggs and Murtaugh actually matters—Riggs is faster but reckless, Murtaugh’s slower but hits harder. I went with Riggs first and immediately regretted it when I got swarmed by knife-wielding thugs. The levels are short but brutal, with drug smugglers, corrupt cops, and even a shootout on a speeding truck. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you do, it’s pure dumb fun.
Just don’t expect deep strategy—this is all about running in, smacking dudes, and occasionally remembering to duck. The final mission against that dirty cop? Yeah, good luck with that one.
