Lemmings is one of those games that looks cute until you realize how brutal it can be. You've got these little green-haired guys mindlessly marching to their doom, and it's your job to assign them jobs—diggers, builders, blockers—to steer them safely to the exit. Sounds simple, right? Then you watch half your squad walk off a cliff because you forgot to assign a builder at the right moment.
The SNES version nails the controls, and the music’s weirdly catchy for something this chaotic. Early levels ease you in, but before long, you're juggling multiple lemmings at once, trying not to panic when they scatter in all directions. The satisfaction of pulling off a perfect rescue? Unmatched. Just don’t be surprised if you yell at the screen a few times.
