Lemmings 2 on SNES takes those tiny green-haired idiots and throws them into even more ridiculous situations. Same idea as the first game—dig, climb, and build your way to safety—but now there’s a whole bunch of new jobs for them. Some are actually useful, like the jumper who can clear gaps, while others… well, let’s just say the ballooner doesn’t always go where you’d hope.

The levels feel more varied this time, with different tribes having their own themes (Egyptian lemmings? Sure, why not). Still punishingly hard in spots, but in that satisfying way where you’ll retry a level five times just to nail the perfect bridge placement. If you liked the original, this one’s got enough weird new tricks to feel fresh.
