About Legend Of Luigi
I first played Legend of Luigi on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released in 1994 by Nintendo, a time when the console was full of platformers trying new things. This one stood out because it wasn't about Mario for a change; you were in control of his brother, Luigi, in his own adventure.
You guide Luigi through a series of haunted mansions, screen by screen, with the goal of rescuing Mario from King Boo. Your main tool is the Poltergust, a vacuum cleaner you use to suck up ghosts and clear obstacles. The exploration is methodical; you search each room for keys and hidden switches to unlock new areas, while managing a limited supply of health. It's a slower, more puzzle focused game compared to the typical run and jump action, and the difficulty comes from figuring out ghost patterns and room layouts. The satisfaction comes from clearing a tricky room and hearing that little victory fanfare.
