Legend on SNES is one of those classic beat-em-ups that feels like it walked straight out of an arcade—big sprites, chunky hits, and that satisfying crunch when you land a combo. It’s got that Golden Axe vibe but with its own weird charm, like the way enemies sometimes ragdoll when you knock them into pits. The first level throws you right into a grimy city street, smashing thugs with swords or your bare fists (I went fists first, regretted it immediately).
Music’s got that gritty SNES bass, and the controls are simple but weighty—no fancy combos, just good old-fashioned brawling. It’s a little janky in places (why does the jump feel like you’re wearing lead boots?), but that kinda adds to the charm. If you’re into retro beat-em-ups, this one’s a solid time-waster with friends.
