About Legend (beta)
I picked up Legend for the Super Nintendo back in 1994. It was one of those games from Seika Corp. that came out during a time when the SNES library was full of side-scrolling adventures. It fits right in with that style, reminding me a bit of Golden Axe or Final Fight in its basic approach.
You control a warrior navigating levels from left to right, fighting off a stream of enemies with your sword. The main goal is straightforward: battle through each stage, defeat the boss, and move on. The combat is simple, relying on direct attacks, and you can also use a bow for some ranged options against certain foes. The pacing is fairly quick, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you aren't careful with your positioning and health. Playing it feels like a brisk, challenging trek through a familiar kind of action game.
