Le Avventure Di Mario 2 Game

Le Avventure Di Mario 2 is one of those weird, offbeat Mario games that never made it outside Japan—until ROMs and emulators got popular, anyway. It’s basically a reskin of Doki Doki Panic with Mario characters slapped on, so don’t expect the usual run-and-jump stuff. Instead, you’re pulling veggies out of the ground to throw at enemies, riding magic carpets, and dealing with some seriously janky hitboxes.
Picking between Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad at the start feels weird because they actually handle differently—Luigi jumps like he’s on the moon, and Peach floats just long enough to make you think you’ve got it figured out before faceplanting into a Shy Guy. The levels are bizarre too, with giant sand snakes and haunted houses that feel like they’re from a completely different game. It’s messy, but there’s something charming about how unapologetically strange it is.
If you’re used to the tight controls of Super Mario World, this one’s gonna feel like playing with oven mitts on. But give it a few levels, and the weirdness kinda grows on you.
