Okay, so Lawnmower Man on SNES is... weird. Like, the kind of weird where you boot it up and immediately think "Wait, this was based on a movie?" It jumps between totally different gameplay styles—one minute you're running through a lab dodging lasers, the next you're in this bizarre top-down maze thing with awful controls. The graphics are kinda cool in a gritty '90s CGI way, but good luck figuring out what you're supposed to do half the time.
Honestly, it feels like three different games got shoved into one cartridge. There's a weird charm to how janky it is, but I wouldn't blame you for giving up after the third unexplained instant-death pit. Definitely one of those "you had to be there" retro experiences.
