Kyouji's Mario World V0.8 Game

Kyouji's Mario World V0.8 is one of those weird, charming SMW hacks that throws you right into the chaos. The first level already feels like someone remixed the original with a fever dream—expect offbeat enemy placements, janky but fun platforming, and maybe a few "wait, how was I supposed to make that jump?" moments.
It’s not polished like an official Nintendo release, but that’s kind of the point. The physics feel just slightly off in a way that keeps you on your toes, and some of the sprite swaps are hilarious (why is there a giant Shy Guy riding a Koopa?). If you’ve played a dozen SMW romhacks and still want more, this one’s got personality for days.
Fair warning: it’s version 0.8, so don’t expect a full game’s worth of content. But what’s here is a solid afternoon of weird Mario nostalgia with a side of "what even is this?"
