I remember picking up Kyle Petty's No Fear Racing for the Super Nintendo back in 1995. It was published by Leland Interactive Media, one of those many sports titles that tried to capture the feel of NASCAR during the 16-bit era. It wasn't the most famous racing game on the system, but it had its own thing going on.
You control a stock car, racing against a field of competitors on a variety of tracks. The main goal is straightforward: win the race.
