About Krusty's Super Fun House (europe) (rev A)
Krusty's Super Fun House came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by Audiogenic and published by Acclaim. It was one of those many licensed games from the era that tried to blend a popular cartoon property with an established game genre, in this case the puzzle mechanics popularized by Lemmings.
You control Krusty the Clown, but your main job is not to move him directly. Instead, you guide a continuous stream of rats through each single-screen room of the fun house to an exit. You place various gadgets and traps on the playfield, like conveyor belts, fans, and electrocution panels, to build a safe path for the rodents. The challenge is in figuring out the correct placement and timing of these items before the rats walk into a hazard or fall off the screen. The game starts simply but the puzzles get quite devious, demanding careful planning. It feels like solving a Rube Goldberg machine where the parts are constantly moving.
