King of the Monsters on SNES is basically Godzilla meets pro wrestling—but with way more buildings getting wrecked. You pick a kaiju (my go-to was Geon, the spiky turtle dude) and just start throwing down in the middle of Tokyo or Osaka. The controls are simple—grapples, slams, the occasional fire breath—but there's something weirdly satisfying about backdropping a giant monster onto a power plant and watching the whole block explode.

The cities actually crumble as you fight, which was pretty mind-blowing back in the day. One second you're trading punches in a downtown district, the next you're elbow-dropping your opponent through what's left of a train station. It's janky by modern standards, but the sheer chaos still holds up.

Just don't expect deep strategy—this is pure arcade-style monster brawling at its dumbest and most fun.
