King of the Monsters 2 came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed and published by SNK. You control one of several giant monsters, like the radioactive Geon or the flying Cyber Woo, and you fight other monsters across a world map. Your main goal is to defeat each enemy and move on to the next stage, eventually confronting a final boss. The signature mechanics are the grappling and throwing moves; you latch onto your opponent, punch them repeatedly, and then hurl them into buildings or the ground. The stages are side scrolling, and you can destroy nearly everything in the environment, from skyscrapers to military vehicles that try to shoot you.
