You control a young boy on a quest to rescue a kidnapped princess. The main goal is straightforward: navigate through a series of themed worlds, each composed of individual screens you clear one by one. Your primary tools are a sword for close combat and a bow for hitting enemies from a distance. You explore forests, castles, and dungeons, searching for special items that grant new abilities, like a double jump or a more powerful attack. The game moves at a steady pace, but some later stages ramp up the difficulty with tricky platforming sections and enemy placements. Playing it feels like a methodical trek through a large, interconnected map where every new screen presents a small, self contained challenge.
