Kid Adventure 4 is one of those wild Super Mario World hacks that cranks everything up to 11. The levels are packed with ridiculous challenges—think precision jumps over bottomless pits, hidden power-ups in weird spots, and enemies coming at you from every angle. It’s not unfair, but you’ll definitely need a few tries to figure out some sections.

What I love is how it remixes familiar Mario mechanics with new twists, like weirdly placed vines that suddenly drop you into a maze of spikes. The graphics are still classic SMW, but the level design feels fresh—if a little chaotic at times. If you’ve played a bunch of Mario hacks before, this one’s a solid step up in difficulty.
