Kick Off 3: European Challenge came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by Imagineer. It was part of that wave of soccer games on 16-bit consoles trying to capture the feel of the sport with the limited power available. You got a few different European national teams to pick from, and the presentation was straightforward for its time.

You control all the players on your chosen soccer team, passing the ball between them and making runs toward the opponent's goal. The main objective is to outscore the other team within the match time. A couple of things set it apart: the passing required more precision than some other games, and the shooting felt very direct and powerful, almost like you were hammering the ball. The game moved at a fast pace, and the difficulty came from the aggressive computer opponents who would challenge for the ball constantly.
