About Kick Off 3 - European Challenge (europe) (beta)
Kick Off 3: European Challenge was a beta version released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, though it never saw a full commercial launch. It was developed by Anco Software and intended as a follow up to their earlier Kick Off titles, arriving during a period when European football games were competing fiercely on the 16-bit consoles. This particular build represents an unfinished state of what was meant to be a comprehensive soccer simulation.
You control a full team of eleven players, directing their movement and passing to score goals against the opposing side. The main objective is to win matches across various European competitions. Signature mechanics include a distinctive overhead, zoomed out camera view that shows a large portion of the pitch, and a passing system that relies heavily on manual direction and power. The game is known for its fast pace and can be quite difficult to master due to the precision required for tackles and shots. It feels like a challenging, technical interpretation of football where every pass and touch carries weight.
