Kamen Rider on SNES is one of those classic beat-'em-ups that feels like it was made for late-night couch co-op. You pick your Rider—I always went with the original, but the others have their own weird little quirks—and then just plow through waves of enemies with punches, kicks, and those satisfying Rider special moves. The sprites are chunky in that early '90s way, and the soundtrack has that unmistakable Bandai energy.
It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but there’s something fun about how over-the-top it gets. By stage 3, you’re already fighting weird cyborg monsters in neon cityscapes. And yeah, it’s in Japanese, but you don’t really need to understand the text to enjoy slamming a Shocker grunt into a wall. If you grew up with tokusatsu or just love retro brawlers, this one’s a solid time.
