Just Blob is one of those obscure Super Nintendo games that never got an official release; it's a prototype, or maybe an unreleased project, so you won't find it in any official catalog. I don't know who made it, but it feels like something from that experimental mid-90s period on the SNES, when developers were trying out new ideas for platformers and puzzle games.

You control a gelatinous, amorphous blob, navigating through a series of single-screen rooms. Your main goal is simply to reach the exit in each stage, but getting there requires you to absorb certain objects to change your properties; you might soak up a rock to become heavy enough to trigger a pressure plate, or absorb a sponge to float across water hazards. The game is built on this constant transformation, forcing you to think about which ability you need before you can proceed. It's a slow, deliberate puzzle game rather than a fast action title, and some of the later puzzles require precise timing and careful planning. The satisfaction comes from finally figuring out the exact sequence of forms needed to solve a room.
