It was one of many movie tie-ins from that period, but it stood out for its top-down perspective and its attempt to capture the film's setting. You explore the island of Isla Nublar, which feels large and quiet, a place you are not meant to be.

You play as Dr. Alan Grant, armed with a tranquilizer rifle and some electroshock darts. Your goal is to find and activate security systems across the island to call for rescue. The game is split between top-down exploration, where you navigate dense forests and facilities, and first-person segments inside buildings where you must solve puzzles and avoid Velociraptors. You collect key cards and dinosaur eggs, which are necessary to progress. It is a difficult game; the dinosaurs are fast, resources are limited, and getting lost is easy. Playing it feels like being constantly hunted, a tense scramble for survival against creatures that are always just a screen away.
