Jurassic Park II - The Chaos Continues is one of those SNES games that looked amazing in magazines but played... well, kinda rough. You're basically running and gunning through Isla Nublar (again), mowing down raptors and dodging T-rexes with this weird top-down/side-scrolling hybrid setup. The first level throws you right into the jungle with a machine gun, which sounds awesome until you realize the controls are a little stiff.

It's got that classic 90s movie tie-in vibe—cool sprite work, some decent explosions, but you can tell it was rushed. The European version at least lets you pick between four languages, though good luck finding anyone who played this for the French dialogue. Fun fact: the T-rex boss fight is way harder than it needs to be because your guy moves like he's stuck in molasses.

Still, if you're nostalgic for licensed SNES chaos, it's a weird little time capsule. Just don't expect Jurassic Park meets Contra like the box art suggests.
