Jungle Strike on SNES is one of those games that makes you feel like an absolute badass within seconds. You hop into a helicopter—no tutorial, no hand-holding—and suddenly you're weaving through trees, blowing up enemy bases, and trying not to crash into buildings (which, trust me, happens more than you'd think). The controls are tight, and the missions throw you straight into the chaos—rescuing hostages, taking out armored convoys, even dodging heat-seeking missiles over a city skyline.
What I love is how it mixes strategy with pure action. You can't just guns-blaze your way through; you actually have to think about fuel, ammo, and which targets to hit first. And yeah, the jungle levels? Brutal. One wrong move and you're smashing into a palm tree while enemy turrets light you up. It's got that perfect '90s arcade vibe—tough but fair, with just enough chaos to keep you coming back.
If you missed this one back in the day, it’s still a blast to play now. Just don’t blame me when you get obsessed with beating your high score.
