Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics is that weird, kinda janky SNES sequel where our caveman bros trade their clubs for spears and end up stranded on a tropical island. Instead of dinosaurs, you're fighting tribal warriors, sharks, and these weird frog guys—honestly, the enemy designs are all over the place.

You still toss weapons like boomerangs and fireballs, but now there's swimming sections (ugh) and these awkward vine-swinging bits that never quite feel right. The music's got that same upbeat caveman vibe though, and chucking coconuts at angry natives never gets old. Just don't expect it to be as tight as the first game.

It's one of those "play it once for the nostalgia, then go back to the original" kind of sequels.
