JoJo No Kimyou Na Bouken—yeah, the SNES one—is basically a love letter to the manga’s first three arcs. You get to play as Jonathan, Joseph, and Jotaro in this weirdly charming fighting game where every character feels like they jumped straight out of the pages. The sprites are chunky and full of personality, and the special moves? Ridiculous in the best way. Ever wanted to see Joseph pull out a Tommy gun mid-fight? Here’s your chance.
It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but the sheer style makes up for it. The controls are simple enough that you can pull off a Stand rush or a Hamon Overdrive without memorizing a million inputs. And that OST? Pure 16-bit gold. Just don’t expect it to play like modern JoJo games—this one’s all about that old-school, button-mashy charm.
If you’re a fan of the series, it’s a must-play just for the nostalgia alone.
