If you grew up with a Super Nintendo and a love of sports trivia, this one’s a weird little time capsule. It’s classic Jeopardy! but every category is sports—baseball stats, obscure Olympic moments, that kind of thing. The SNES version actually feels pretty solid; the buzzer timing matters, and the questions get surprisingly niche (ever heard of the 1938 Wimbledon men’s singles runner-up? Congrats, now you have).
Graphics are what you’d expect—pixelated Alex Trebek nodding approvingly at your correct answers—but the real challenge is the clock. You’ll panic-hit the button just to blurt out “Who is Michael Jordan?” for the third time in a row. Fun with friends if you’re all into sports, but good luck convincing anyone else to play. Still, it’s weirdly satisfying when you nail a question about some 1980s hockey play nobody remembers.
