Jeopardy! Sports Edition came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994, developed by Park Place Productions. It was one of many trivia and game show adaptations on the platform, sitting right alongside other quiz games that tried to capture the feeling of watching television at home. This one narrowed the focus down to nothing but sports, which was a pretty clear hook for anyone who lived and breathed that kind of stuff.

You play as a contestant on the show, controlling a cursor to select clues from the familiar board. The main goal is to outscore two computer opponents by providing correct responses, which you must type in yourself. The game uses the standard Jeopardy format, including the Daily Double wager and the Final Jeopardy round. You can choose from a few different characters and adjust the difficulty of the AI, which does get noticeably sharper on the higher settings.
