Jelly Boy 2 is an unreleased prototype for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, a follow-up to the 1991 game known as Jerry Boy in Japan and Smart Ball in North America. It was developed by Game Freak and published by Sony Imagesoft, but it never saw an official commercial release. This places it among the many unfinished projects from the SNES library that offer a glimpse into what might have been during the platform's active years.

You control a pink, gelatinous character who can stretch, bounce, and stick to surfaces to navigate a series of side-scrolling levels. The main goal is to progress through each stage, solving environmental puzzles and avoiding hazards to reach the exit. Key mechanics include using your elastic body to latch onto hooks and swing across gaps, as well as absorbing smaller enemies to temporarily change your size and properties. The pacing is methodical, demanding careful observation and timing rather than speed, and the level design can be quite challenging with its reliance on precise platforming. Moving through the colorful, surreal stages with such a unique set of physics makes the act of playing feel consistently inventive and tactile.
