Izzy's Quest for the Olympic Rings is one of those weird little mascot platformers from the '90s—you know, the kind that got made just to cash in on an event. This one's tied to the '96 Atlanta Olympics, starring their blue, star-headed mascot Izzy. It's not exactly a hidden gem, but it's got some charm if you're into janky retro games.
You jump around colorful levels collecting Olympic rings (of course), dodging obstacles, and occasionally doing some light puzzle-solving. The controls are a bit stiff, and the level design isn't winning any medals, but there's something oddly nostalgic about it. If you ever played Bubsy or similar mascot platformers, you'll recognize the vibe immediately.
Honestly, it's more of a curiosity than a must-play, but if you dig obscure SNES titles, you might get a kick out of it for a few levels.
