I remember picking up Izzy's Quest For The Olympic Rings on the Super Nintendo back in 1995. It was developed and published by a company called Alexandria, which wasn't one of the big household names. This was during that mid-90s period on the SNES where you'd find all sorts of licensed titles and platformers vying for attention on the cartridge shelf, and this one was the official game for the upcoming 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.

You control Izzy, the games' mascot, through a series of themed worlds. Your main goal is to recover the five stolen Olympic Rings. The gameplay is a side-scrolling platformer where you explore levels screen by screen, jumping on platforms and avoiding environmental hazards. Izzy's primary attack is a short-range punch to defeat the various enemies that block your path. You also collect power-ups and special items to help you progress. The pacing is fairly standard for the genre, though some of the platforming sequences can be tricky and demand precise timing. It feels like a straightforward, colorful action game from that era, built around a simple collectathon premise.
