Itadaki Street 2 is one of those weird, charming SNES games that never made it outside Japan—which is a shame, because it’s basically Monopoly on steroids. You roll dice, buy up properties, and watch your opponents go bankrupt, but with way more anime flair and neon-lit cityscapes. The board changes dynamically, and there’s this whole stock market system that can either make you rich or ruin you in a single turn.
At first, I thought it was just a reskin of the first game, but the added mechanics (like upgrading shops into massive skyscrapers) give it way more depth. Also, the soundtrack slaps—super jazzy, like something out of a late-night Tokyo arcade. If you’re into board games with a chaotic twist, this one’s a hidden gem.
