Ever heard of Irem Major Title? It's one of those obscure SNES games from Japan that never made it overseas—kind of a shame, because it's got this weird charm to it. You start off with this little dude running and jumping through these blocky, colorful stages, and at first, it feels like a basic platformer. But then you realize there’s this weird mix of puzzle-solving and action, like figuring out which blocks to push or when to duck under enemies.
The controls are a little stiff (classic early SNES), but once you get used to it, there’s something oddly satisfying about the way everything moves. The music’s got that classic chiptune vibe too—catchy in a repetitive, nostalgic way. Definitely not the most polished game out there, but if you’re into digging up retro oddities, this one’s a neat little time capsule.
