If you've ever wanted to feel like Indy without the risk of actual snakes or rolling boulders, this SNES gem is your ticket. You start off swinging your whip at thugs in a jungle temple, and within minutes you're dodging traps that look straight out of Raiders—except now you get to mess up and retry when a spike pit sends you back to the checkpoint.
The platforming's a bit stiff by today's standards (that jump physics takes getting used to), but nailing a perfect whip swing to cross a chasm feels weirdly satisfying. They nailed the movie moments too—one second you're sneaking past Nazi guards in Cairo, the next you're frantically button-mashing to not get crushed by that iconic boulder. Just don't expect the minecart level to be any less frustrating than it was in Temple of Doom.
Honestly, half the fun is laughing at how pixelated Harrison Ford's face looks during cutscenes. It's janky in that classic 16-bit way, but if you grew up with these movies, that's part of the charm. Grab some snacks and pretend your couch is a theater seat—this one's best played with the lights off and the volume up.
