Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures is basically a love letter to the original trilogy—Raiders, Temple of Doom, and Last Crusade—all crammed into one SNES platformer. You start off in the Raiders section, swinging your whip at snakes and dodging boulders like the iconic opening scene, and it nails that classic Indy feel right away.
The whip is your main tool, but you’ll also pick up guns and grenades along the way. Some levels are straightforward run-and-jump, while others throw in puzzles or vehicle sections (like the mine cart chase from Temple of Doom). The controls take a minute to get used to—Indy’s whip has this weird delay at first—but once it clicks, cracking it at enemies feels satisfying.
It’s not perfect—some hit detection is janky, and the later levels get brutal—but if you grew up with these movies, the nostalgia alone makes it worth playing. Just don’t expect a walk in the park.
