You control a boy named Will, traveling across continents to uncover the mystery behind a vanished civilization and stop a celestial threat. The game plays out screen by screen; you explore towns, talk to villagers, and delve into dungeons filled with puzzles and enemies. Combat is straightforward, using a short range psychic attack, but you also gain new forms with different abilities, like a knight with a powerful sword. You collect red jewels to increase your health and solve environmental puzzles that often block your path.
