Hook on SNES is one of those licensed movie games that somehow ended up being pretty decent. You play as Peter Pan—well, the Robin Williams version—swinging your sword through Neverland, rescuing lost kids from pirates. The controls are a little floaty, but once you get used to the jumps, it's got that classic 16-bit charm.
What surprised me was how much they packed in—flying sections, sword fights, even a weird minecart level. The music’s catchy too, especially the main theme. It’s not perfect (some hit detection is… questionable), but if you grew up with the movie, it’s a fun little nostalgia trip. Just don’t expect a hidden masterpiece.
