About Hiryuu No Ken S - Golden Fighter (japan)
Hiryuu No Ken S - Golden Fighter came out for the Super Nintendo in 1992 from Culture Brain. It was the first entry in the series on the SNES, a time when side-scrolling combat games were common. The story follows Rick, a hero who must enter a world fighting tournament after a demon named Dargon steals a sacred scroll and sword from his temple.
You control Rick through side-scrolling stages, fighting groups of enemies screen by screen. Your main goal is to win the tournament and reclaim the stolen artifacts. The gameplay mixes standard brawling with occasional one-on-one boss fights, and you can find healing items called miracle water to restore health.
