About Hiouden - Mamono-tachi Tono Chikai (japan)
Hiouden: Mamono-tachi Tono Chikai came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Wolf Team. It was part of that wave of action RPGs that tried to blend different genres, a common experiment on the system at the time.
You control a hero navigating the world screen by screen, fighting monsters with your sword and a bow. Your main goal is to explore dungeons and gather the scattered pieces of the Triforce. The game mixes overhead exploration with side-view platforming sections, which keeps the movement from getting too repetitive. It has a deliberate pace and can be quite challenging, demanding careful navigation through its monster-filled halls. Playing it feels like a methodical crawl through a dangerous, interconnected world.
