This one's a deep cut—a Japan-only SNES baseball sim from the '90s with Higashio Osamu's name slapped on it (he was a real-life pitching coach, apparently). The menus are all in Japanese, so you'll be guessing at first, but the gameplay itself is surprisingly solid once you figure out the basics. Feels like a slightly clunkier version of Super Baseball Simulator 1.000, with that same satisfying crack when you nail a home run.
Pitching has this weird meter system where you hold a button to build power, then release at the right moment—took me a few innings to stop throwing wild pitches. The fielding’s a bit stiff, but there’s something charming about the pixelated players sliding into bases with those exaggerated SNES animations. Definitely more of a curiosity than a must-play unless you’re really into obscure sports titles.
